THE BANFF MOUNTAIN FILM FESTIVAL 2023 IS AT THE HALL FOR CORNWALL IN TRURO ON WEDNESDAY 10 AND THURSDAY 11 MAY 2023. ENJOY TWO NIGHTS OF ACTION AND ADVENTURE FILMS THAT WILL HAVE YOU ON THE EDGE OF YOUR SEAT…

Kayaking, climbing, biking and skiing. All up on the big screen. You can’t beat that for a night’s entertainment. And it gets better because the Banff Mountain Film Festival World Tour 2023 actually heads to Cornwall for two nights in May. That’s double the death-defying entertainment for us Cornish adventure movie fans.

On the nights of Wednesday 10 and Thursday 11 May 2023, the film festival is screened at the Hall for Cornwall in Truro. ‘New collections of the world’s biggest adventure films’ hit the screens during the fest with a whole host of incredible cinematography, ‘untamed characters’ and ‘extreme journeys’ along the way.

Films on the bill for Truro include ‘A Baffin Vacation’, where two adventurers ski across a frozen fjord in the Arctic Circle over 45 days, and ‘Bridge Boys’, where a pair of British climbers scale a 2,600ft horizontal groove beneath a motorway bridge on the M5. Click on the ‘website’ link above for the full programme.

A free prize draw for, quote, ‘outdoorsy goodies’ will take place at each event, so get your tickets now and make sure you climb, swim, ski, paddle or cycle your way over to the Hall for Cornwall in May for this inspiring couple of film nights.
