THE PENTYR SINGERS AND FOUR LANES MALE CHOIR PUT ON A CONCERT IN AID OF CORNWALL’S BF ADVENTURE AT HELSTON CENTRAL METHODIST CHURCH ON WEDNESDAY 22 FEBRUARY 2023 FROM 7.30PM. BE THERE…

Heavenly voices inside a heavenly building supporting a crucial charity that helps the young people who need it most. That pretty much sums up the BF Adventure Charity Singing and Choir Concert 2023 in Helston.

The Four Lanes Male Choir, who are based at the Four lanes United Methodist Church near Redruth, joins forces with the Pentyr Singers, who practice at Trewennack Sunday School Hall near Helston, for this concert which is held at Helston Central Methodist Church on Wednesday 22 February 2023 from 7.30pm. And you’re all invited! No need to book a ticket. Just turn up on the night.

Entry is free to the concert and all of the proceeds that are made on the night from a special raffle and any donations go straight to the charity BF Adventure, which supports vulnerable kids and young people who are on ‘a journey of change’. Based near Penryn and sharing its site with Via Ferrata Cornwall, BF Adventure every year uses its 60-acre outdoor activity centre to help around 5,000 youngsters ‘realise their potential’.

Patron of BF Adventure, the Rt Revd Philip Mounstephen, Bishop of Truro, is to introduce the evening of choral singing. Expect a wide repertoire from both popular singing groups, from classical medleys to 20th century rock and roll. Also expect the launch of BF Adventure’s ‘Brighter Futures’ appeal, which seeks to raise crucial funds to support its work with Cornwall’s young people who find themselves facing difficult challenges. A worthy cause, some wonderful voices and an evening to treasure. We’ll see you there.
