THE EDEN SESSIONS 2025 ARE ‘THE NEAREST YOU CAN GET TO WATCHING A GIG ON THE MOON’. A HOST OF CONCERTS TAKE PLACE IN JUNE AND JULY 2024 INCLUDING MADNESS, GARY BARLOW, DEFTONES, TEXAS AND THE SCRIPT…
Mix together Cornwall’s biggest attraction, a former industrial crater, a unique setting of tropical plants and bright lights and some of the best musical acts in the world and what do you have? The Eden Sessions. These unique open-air concerts in the middle of the Cornish countryside are, as a newspaper once said, ‘the nearest you can get to watching a gig on the moon’.
But who is playing the Eden Sessions 2025? So far announced are Texas (alongside KT Tunstall no less), Gary Barlow (with Beverley Knight no less), The Script (with Tom Walker no less), Madness (with Rhoda Dakar), Biffy Clyro (with Nova Twins) and Deftones (with love). That’s got the pop, rock, ska, metal, indie and ballad crowds covered already. In fact, that’s pretty much every musical base covered, so well done Eden for June and July 2025!
As it stands, Texas open up the Sessions at the Eden Project in Cornwall on Thursday 12 June 2025. The Scottish indie-rock outfit, which formed in 1986, have been long loved across our magical isle. Say What You want, the Sharleen Spiteri-fronted band are forever In Demand thanks to their catchy pop-edged sensibilities and heartfelt lyrics.
Snap up your tickets now and watch Texas, who will be following on from a critically acclaimed sold-out UK arena tour, rock the crowds. And they’re joined by fellow countrywoman, singer-songwriter KT Tunstall, making this an all-Scottish affair. Catch them all at the Sessions in ’25.

Next up will be the legendary Gary Barlow of Take That and, well, Gary Barlow fame. He brings his new solo tour, called The Songbook Tour, to Eden on Wednesday 18 June 2025. We could tell you all about his career, sound and warm attitude here. But we’re not going to because you know it all already. The man’s an icon.
Barlow will hit the stage after a set by Beverley Knight MBE. If you haven’t had the pleasure, the singer-songwriter was massive in the 1990s and is known for her soul-inspired music, extensive back catalogue and mesmerising stage presence. Don’t miss her and the great Barlow!

The Script play the Eden Project in Cornwall on Wednesday 25 June 2025. Anthemic rock and stirring alt-pop will be the order of the day as the indie band light up the stage into the evening. The band is joined by Scottish singer-songwriter Tom Walker.

Just a day later, something special this way comes to the Eden Sessions on Thursday 25 June 2025. A metal gig by one of the best in the business. If you like your heavy rock, you will know Deftones well because they are utter trailblazers and unlike any other band.
With hits like ‘My Own Summer’, ‘Change’, ‘Digital Bath’ and ‘Diamond Eyes’, Deftones have changed the metal landscape over the past 30-plus years. And they’re still curating mind-blowing albums to this day.
The GRAMMY Award-winning band from the US are only playing a drumfull of UK shows this year so this is a major coup. If you like your metal loud, melodic, moving and heartfelt, don’t miss the boys as they light up the Eden sky in June.

On Thursday 10 July 2025, rock heroes Biffy Clyro will play their first Cornwall show ever at the venue as part of the sessions. They are supported by Nova Twins.
And capping it all off are one of the most recognisable British bands ever. Following a huge show on Plymouth’s Hoe last summer, the inimitable Madness head to the biomes for the Eden Sessions on Saturday 12 July 2025. Frankly, this is another major coup as everyone loves Madness, right?
The ska-meets-rock-meets-pop-meets-anything zany outfit have ruled the airwaves for decades now, crafting such iconic hits as ‘Wings of a Dove’, ‘Our House’, ‘The Prince’ and ‘My Girl’. And they have rocked the biomes before, in 2017 to be exact. This time they’re joined by singer and musician Rhoda Dakar. So make sure your trousers are baggy as you go one step beyond and join a house of fun at Eden in July. Get your tickets now!

You’d never know it today but until the mid-1990s, the crater that the Eden Project’s two biomes sit in near St Austell actually housed a 160-year-old china clay enterprise. The only sounds you’d hear of an evening would be the clanking of machinery and the chatter of the workers who were clocking off for the night.
These days, though, on a select handful of dates during the early summer, the former pits bounce to much more melodic sounds as some of the world’s biggest and best music acts rock up for the Eden Sessions.

The crater’s man-made cliffs provide a wonderful natural amphitheatre for the sessions. And the image of those two mammoth biomes turning into giant brightly lit disco balls in the background adds a massive wow factor to the gigs. In fact, Eden becomes one of the world’s most atmospheric live music venues for the sessions. There’s an otherworldly feel that just heightens the senses, whichever major act you’re lucky enough to catch.
Of course, Eden’s mission is stamped all over its sessions. The performers are invited to use their art to stimulate and provoke audiences to reflect on social and environmental issues while Eden itself promises to showcase sustainable, innovative and inclusive best practices for event management.
Since the inaugural concerts in 2002, past performers have included Oasis, Suede, Rick Astley, Crowded House, Elton John, Pulp, Moby, Amy Winehouse, Skrillex, Massive Attack and Ben Howard, to name but a select few.
In 2022, My Chemical Romance, Nine Inch Nails, Stereophonics and Diana Ross were among the big names rocking the biomes and at the Eden Sessions 2023, Lionel Richie, Gabrielle, The War on Drugs, Beth Orton, Incubus, the Pet Shop Boys, Kasabian and The Who all played to massive crowds. The 2024 lineup included Fatboy Slim, JLS and The Lightning Seeds.
When are the Eden Sessions 2025? In June and July 2025. See above for the full rundown. There may still be other announcements, though, so watch this space as we will update all the sessions gigs as they are announced.
Head to the Eden Sessions official website (link above!) for information too as it’s released. And then prepare for a musical party with a happy biosphere as you rock out in a former china clay crater to some of the biggest acts in the world.
