WELCOME TO LIVE IN THE WYLDES 2024 IN CORNWALL! THE SERIES TAKES PLACE BETWEEN SATURDAY 8 JUNE AND SUNDAY 21 JULY 2024

Yeah, we know. Live in The Wyldes 2024 sounds like one big festival. Well, it’s not. It’s actually a load of big gigs, all of which take place on farmland near Bude in June and July 2024.

Live in The Wyldes is a bit like the Eden Sessions in terms of a handful of massive concerts on Cornish land over a number of weeks. There are some seriously big acts coming in 2024.

Who is playing the 2024 Live in The Wyldes? Here is our rundown:

Saturday 8 June 2024: Underworld

Saturday 22 June 2024: Simple Minds

Sunday 23 June 2024: Anne-Marie

Saturday 29 June 2024: Jess Glynne

Sunday 30 June 2024: James Arthur

Sunday 21 July 2024: Idles

The 2023 edition of the Live in The Wyldes series kicked off with a ‘Ministry of Sound Classical’ show on Friday 16 June 2023. The iconic house club brought its historic vibes to The Wyldes. And iconic was the word as DJs Paul Oakenfold, Danny Rampling and Judge Jules joined a 30-piece orchestra to spread their euphoric beats across the Cornish crowd.

Then, just a day later on Saturday 17 June 2023, Rudimental hit The Wyldes stage. The dance, electro and drum ‘n’ bass outfit played their hits for the Cornwall crowd. And on Friday 30 June 2023, the Live at the Wyldes party continued with a show by Two Door Cinema Club. The indie pop trio from Northern Ireland made sure the Cornish crowd kept on smiling with hit after hit.

Finally, the ‘greatest house party in a field’ closed out Live at the Wyldes 2023. Leopallooza 2023, headlined by the likes of Orbital and Bloc Party, took place between 21 and 23 July 2023. But, as before, at the 2024 Live in the Wyldes there shall be no more Leopallooza. Again, watch this space for developments, though!

Just for interested parties, here was the 2022 programme that you may or may not have missed: Keane, Pete Tong, McFly, Rag’n’Bone Man and all finishing with that massive festival, Leopallooza. So many music lovers from far and wide flocked to catch the concerts and fest.

As the organisers say, each gig at Live in The Wyldes is ‘not just a few hours of music and some overpriced beer’. It’s a ‘day (and night if you want to stay) filled with great music, incredible food and always fairly priced bars’. Their words, not ours. It’s time to go Wylde in 2024!
