THE PENZANCE ROTARY CLASSIC AND VINTAGE CAR SHOW 2025 TAKES PLACE IN THE TOWN ON SUNDAY 7 JULY 2025. AN ARMY OF VINTAGE CARS WILL LINE UP ALONG PENZANCE PROMENADE FOR THIS CLASSIC MOTORING EVENT…

Penzance’s Promenade is usually reserved for people who want to look out to sea to catch the boats, yachts, ships and any other transport that prefers the ocean waves. But not on this day. No, this event uses the water (and Mount’s Bay) as simply a backdrop to all the classic and vintage vehicles that line up on the seafront, shimmering in the sun.

The Penzance Rotary Classic and Vintage Car Show 2025 takes place on Sunday 7 July 2025 along the town’s Western Promenade. The event runs from 11am to 3pm, the same times as last year’s hugely successful edition. As always, expect a fantastic display of pre-2000 classic and vintage vehicles, with a stunning mix of sports cars, American classics, and pre-war beauties all gleaming in the Cornish sunshine.

Organised by Penzance Rotary Club, the event continues to grow in popularity. In 2023, exactly 100 classic and vintage cars from across many decades were displayed to celebrate the club’s centenary. The club, founded in 1923 by Town Mayor Howell Mabbott, has been actively ‘serving the community’ and ‘improving people’s lives’ in Penzance ever since. As in previous years, the 2025 show is free for spectators, with refreshments available throughout the day.

Vehicle classifications for 2025 have now been confirmed. Expect a fantastic selection of pre-war cars, classic sports cars, vintage American automobiles, and retro favourites from the 70s, 80s, and 90s. The event is always a hit with car enthusiasts, collectors, and families looking for a great day out by the sea.

Alongside the stunning vehicles, visitors can chat with owners, learn about restoration projects, and admire some of the most well-preserved and unique motors in the South West. There’s also a strong charity element to the show. As always, donations raised will support local charities, chosen by Penzance Rotary Club.

Whether you’re a die-hard petrolhead or just love a bit of nostalgia, this is the perfect opportunity to experience classic motoring in one of Cornwall’s most scenic locations. Motor on over to Penzance on Sunday 7 July 2025—just not too fast…
