POLPERRO CHRISTMAS LIGHTS 2023 AND CELEBRATIONS TAKE PLACE ON SATURDAY 2 AND SUNDAY 3 DECEMBER 2023 IN THE PRETTY SOUTH COAST VILLAGE. PREPARE FOR A CORNISH-STYLE YULETIDE FESTIVAL FOR ALL THE FAMILY…

Polperro has to be one of the most idyllic seaside villages in Cornwall. And it certainly knows how to throw a cracking Christmas bash over a chilly weekend at the start of December 2023.

The ‘Polperro at Christmas 2023’ event, also known as ‘Polperro Christmas Lights 2023’, takes place on both Saturday 2 and Sunday 3 December 2023. Expect a warm welcome and a warming atmosphere throughout despite the cold weather at this time of year.

Also expect a Christmas craft fayre, plenty of entertainers, local choirs in full voice, a raffle, a tombola, a photo booth, face painting, live music and an array of children’s festive activities. Bucketloads of seasonal grub (including an ‘elves’ barbecue’) will be on offer as well, plus of course Santa will visit the village from 4.30pm on the Saturday to meet children and to take part in a festive parade.

The big Polperro Christmas lights switch-on will take place later on the Saturday. You could say that’s the centrepiece of the weekend but frankly there’s so much going on that it all feels like a Yuletide highlight. The festival runs between 1pm and 9pm on the Saturday and 11am and 4pm on the Sunday. There’s free parking available too.

So get on down to Polperro this weekend. It’s the ho-ho-ho-nly party worth hitting up!
