ROCK OYSTER FESTIVAL 2025 IS SET FOR THURSDAY 24TH TO SUNDAY 27TH JULY 2025. ONE OF CORNWALL’S PREMIER FOOD AND MUSIC FESTIVALS RETURNS TO DINHAM HOUSE, ST MINVER, WITH ANOTHER CRACKING LINEUP AND SOME OF THE BEST GRUB IN THE BUSINESS.

For those about to go to Rock, we salute you! Yes, you may be thinking rock music here, but the Rock Oyster Festival 2025, between Thursday 24th and Sunday 27th July, is about so much more than just one musical genre. This much-loved festival is actually about some of the best bands and artists in the business, representing a whole range of styles, meeting some of the best grub for miles around, all wowing the crowds over one awesome long weekend of fun, food, family, and festivities at Dinham House, St Minver, between Rock and Wadebridge.

Headlining the 2025 edition are Ministry of Sound Classical, Rag’n’Bone Man, and UB40 featuring Ali Campbell, bringing a mix of iconic club sounds, soulful vocals, and reggae classics to Cornwall’s north coast. They’re joined by Kate Nash, Everything Everything, Nubiyan Twist, and many more acts still to be announced. Expect another year of big names, big crowds, and an even bigger atmosphere.

On the food front, Emily Scott, John Torode, Noor Murad, and Mark Hix are among the top chefs taking to the stage for cooking demonstrations, long-table feasts, and alfresco dining experiences. The festival’s Chef Tipis will once again be home to some of the UK’s best culinary talent, dishing up an unbeatable selection of Cornish and international cuisine, alongside street food stalls offering all manner of mouth-watering delights.

As for the music, 2024 saw another stellar lineup with Sugababes and Bombay Bicycle Club leading the charge, proving once again that this festival is as much about the tunes as it is about the food. The year before, in 2023, the inimitable Nile Rodgers and Chic, Groove Armada, Sophie Ellis-Bextor, and The Big Moon all headlined and drew some of the biggest crowds in the event’s history. Also on the bill in 2023 were the likes of the House Gospel Choir, Gwenno, and Don Letts.

Expect a slew of famous restaurants popping up in the Chef Tipis, as well as demonstrations and masterclasses from some of the UK’s most talented cooks ‘n’ chefs, and even some long-table feasts by the Camel Estuary.

Also expect food stalls, kids’ entertainment, and much more besides to enjoy alongside the big-name musical acts who play to huge crowds. For example, in the past, there has been foraging, archery, and circus skills workshops, as well as bellyboard painting and hip-hop yoga.

This festival does have everything, especially if you love good grub, top tunes, and a lively atmosphere that appeals to all ages. If music be the food of love, then play on at the Rock Oyster Festival 2025. There. We managed to do all that without talking about the real stars of this fest: those lovely, lovely oysters…
