Do you want to hear these incredible pieces of classical music played live by one of the most exciting string quartets in the UK? If you do, then you must head to Truro‘s Mylor Theatre on Friday 14 October so you can catch the Sacconi Quartet in concert.
The Sacconi Quartet is a string ensemble that was founded in 2001 by four talented graduates of the Royal College of Music in London. Over the past two decades, it has played concerts across Europe, delighting classical music fans due to the quartet’s virtuoso talents and the fact they make for a wonderfully intimate affair. Expect no different at Truro‘s Mylor Theatre.
The gig is being staged by Truro Three Arts, which was launched 73 years ago to promote the ‘highest standards of classical music, visual arts and spoken word in Cornwall’. The society organises six classical music concerts from October to March every year. This Sacconi gig kicks off the season and features those aforementioned Hadyn, Beethoven and Michael Tippett movements.
