THE SCARE ASYLUM HALLOWEEN EVENT IN PENRYN TAKES PLACE ON THURSDAY 26, FRIDAY 27 AND SATURDAY 28 OCTOBER 2023. THIS IS NOT A CORNWALL HALLOWEEN 2023 EVENT FOR THE FAINT-HEARTED. STRICTLY OVER-16s ONLY…

Want to have a right old scream this Halloween? Then enter the Scare Asylum maze between Thursday 26 and Saturday 28 October 2023 in Penryn, near Falmouth. This is billed as a ‘top secret asylum’ that hosts ‘the world’s most prolific and murderous criminals’.

Organisers say that the facility has ‘been testing a serum on its inmates’ in a bid to see if their ‘twisted and evil minds can be altered’. However, the serum ‘did not do what was intended’ and basically it ‘enhanced the psychopathic tendencies of the inmates’ and now they’re all terrifying zombies.

Apparently, most of these ravenous zombies have escaped their bonds and murdered the asylum staff. But, say the organisers, ‘there is an antidote located on the first floor’ that participants in this unique Halloween 2023 adventure ‘have to retrieve it before it spreads to the public and beyond’ and, well, you’ve got to ‘save the world’!

The rest is being kept a secret. You need to go along and prepare to just throw yourself into this mega-scary Penryn experience that does have a VR element too.

The event is at the Raze the Roof indoor play, VR, laser tag and events arena in Penryn. It’s specifically billed as ‘NOT a kid’s party’. In fact, it’s strictly 16 years old or older.

It’s actually a ‘live entertainment scare maze experience’ featuring scare-actors and ‘corridors with non-stop twists and turns’ and, apparently, a ton of ‘jumps around every corner’.

We’re not saying any more. It was a big success last Halloween so if you know, you know. Just head to the official website and book your tickets now. If you dare…
