Billed as “the most rambunctious garden fête”, Cornwall’s Great Estate Festival is held annually at Scorrier House near Redruth and Camborne in Cornwall’s Wild West.

The 2024 edition held over the first weekend of June was headlined by The Stranglers and 00’s rockers The Darkness, with Soul II Soul blissing out the Sunday evening of a weekend that was adorned by gorgeous weather.

Here at Proper Cornwall we’re big fans of the Great Estate which we reckon is up there with the best of the Duchy’s summer offerings and is perfect for families. There’s a great mix of music, activities, classic fairground rides, stuff to much on and sup. And what’s more the setting is gorgeous.
