THE LOOE WEEKENDER 2024 FESTIVAL TAKES PLACE IN THE SEASIDE TOWN ON FRIDAY 20, SATURDAY 21 AND SUNDAY 22 SEPTEMBER 2024. EXPECT THE PUBS AND OTHER VENUES TO BE RAMMED AS GREAT LOCAL BANDS PLAY TO THE CROWDS!
Ah, quiet Looe. Lovely tranquil, serene, quiet Looe. Nothing loud could ever happen here… yeah, right! The pretty Cornish south coast fishing town will be anything but quiet when the three-day 2024 Looe Weekender festival takes place between Friday 20 and Sunday 22 September 2024.
Expect the pubs on both the east and west sides of the town to feature some of the best bands and acts for miles around. And expect a live stage rammed with top quality live music acts over all three days. The atmosphere should be buzzing and the best thing about it all? It’s free! That’s right, every gig on every night is totally free to enjoy (as it stands at time of writing as the 2023 edition was free!).
The festival debuted in 2023, following on the heels of the annual Looe Live! fest which had played over past years as the big music extravaganza of the year in town but that’s all old news now as the Looe Weekender has already become the big deal for the future.
Pubs like the Jolly Sailor will feature a raft of live music acts over the three days and nights in September 2024 and there will be all sorts of fun happening in Looe throughout the weekend. Plus, the centrepiece is a big outdoor stage in the western side of the town.
The 2024 Looe Weekender festival is organised by Looe‘s pubs, bars and clubs. In fact, in 2023 there were more than 10 venues and pop-up stages across the town. Most of those venues hosted at least three musical sessions every day. There were even a few one-off performances at local coffee shops and restaurants. Rock bands, pop outfits, blues guitarists, harmonious duos, solo acts and everything in between played at the jam-packed fest.
The fest takes place on the Friday, Saturday and Sunday, however do look out for gigs on Thursday 19 September 2024 too as there should be a little bit of live music on that evening as well.

So, what are you waiting for? Book your tickets for… oh, wait a minute! You don’t need any tickets because it’s all FREE (again, at the time of writing as that’s what happened in 2023!).
