THE MOUNT EDGCUMBE CLASSIC CAR SHOW 2023 IS ON SUNDAY 6 AUGUST 2023 AT THE FAMOUS COUNTRY PARK OPPOSITE PLYMOUTH AND NEAR TO LISKEARD AND LOOE. SEE MORE THAN 800 OF THE BEST VINTAGE VEHICLES IN CORNWALL…

Known officially as the Mount Edgcumbe American and Classic Car Show and Summer Fair 2023, this vehicle-worshipping event takes place on Sunday 6 August 2023 between 9am and 5pm. Marvel at some incredible machines as they sit on display in the grounds of Mount Edgcumbe Country Park opposite Plymouth across the water and near to Liskeard and Looe in Cornwall.

It’s not the first time the car show and summer fair have been at Mount Edgcumbe but it may be the best time. More than 800 cars of all sorts of marques will be on display for all to see. The organisers, in fact, claim that the show is the ‘biggest annual event held at this beautiful country park!’

The show is formally opened at 11am on 6 August but visitors are free to arrive from 9am. And it’s billed as ‘not just a car show’ too as the summer fair element, say organisers, ‘has something for everyone’. Expect a huge array of artisan food, quality beverages and local crafts alongside an exciting fairground for the kids. There’s even ‘a popular car boot section’.

Marvel at the stunning views across to Plymouth or up to the famous Mount Edgcumbe House as more than 10,000 people are expected to attend the big show. Also help the show organisers to support two important local charities by going along, namely Cornwall Hospice Care and The Friends of Mount Edgcumbe Country Park.

There’s no need to pre-book for this event, either (unless you’re displaying a car, of course!). Just turn up on the day and pay to park, if you’re driving. From there, entry to the show is free! So, better put pedal to the metal and race on over to this gem of a Cornish country park to catch one of the biggest car shows of the year. The Mount Edgcumbe Car Show 2023: a car show like no other!
