Dust off your wellies for the start of Cornwall’s festival season because it’s all going down on the farm on 25-26 April 2025 at Healey’s Cornish Cyder Farm, and the lineup is already looking like an absolute belter. Toploader will be bringing their feel-good classics to the main stage, joined by Lightning Seeds, Judge Jules, The Best of Grohl, Helm De Vegas, and a whole host of brilliant acts across the weekend. More names are still to be announced, so keep your eyes peeled here for updates…
It’s sure to be a proper Cornish barnstormer for all you live music and cider fans. One big traditional draw for adults at the fest is that it’s only for, well, adults. And it’s also going to be packed with way more than just the main stage acts and the cider. Expect an army of celebrity DJs spinning throughout, the Mr and Mrs Rattler Competition (bring your other half!), Après-Ski Lodge sessions, and zany Spring Break party games.
Other highlights returning in 2025 include a massive silent disco in a woodland clearing, plus the much-loved ‘Rattler Olympics’. These events are a scream to watch, we promise you. Sprinkle in the Pineapple Beach Bar and the legion of food trucks from far and wide, and you’ve got yourself the best music festival in the South West in 2025.
Of course, you don’t need to be a cider drinker to enjoy Rattler Fest because there’s plenty of other boozy and non-boozy drinks on offer (but let’s be honest, it helps if you want to shake that booty until at least midnight…). The local food trucks also offer all sorts of gourmet goodies throughout the weekend, and there’s usually a fairground with some ace rides for all you big kids out there.
We recommend camping for the weekend to soak up the entire fest that stretches out over idyllic farmland near Perranporth, but you can come and go as you please should you wish.
Back in September 2021, at Healey’s Cornish Cyder Farm in Penhallow near Truro, something happened. A festival began, and it was an utter barnstormer, with amazing live music acts like The Good Old Fashioned Lover Boys and King Creature alongside all sorts of fun sideshows like a makeshift Olympics and wacky midnight games in a club named after cheese.
Well, that fest was such a success that it immediately became an annual event, with 2022’s event, which was held in April rather than September, being heralded as another massive success. Then, the 2023 edition cranked things up a notch with Goldie Lookin’ Chain, The Hoosiers, Stereo MCs, Chris Stark, and Queen tribute act The Good Old Fashioned Lover Boys tearing up the main stage.
By 2024, things had got even wilder, with 90s pop icons East 17 headlining the Friday, Scouting For Girls taking centre stage, Cornish DJ legends Jam & Meme keeping the party going, and 90s kids’ TV heroes Dick and Dom spinning an unforgettable Saturday night DJ set.
Now, 2025 is set to take things even further, proving once again that Rattler Fest is the must-attend festival of the year.
