ESTUARIES OF FUN: FALMOUTH

Welcome to the world’s third largest natural harbour. And what a harbour it is, right out there on the beautiful Fal Estuary. This is one of Cornwall’s biggest towns, with that fine harbour on one side and some fab sandy beaches on the other. There’s plenty of Tudor history here too, complete with castles like the famous Pendennis, and some of the fab shopping and eating options are among the best that Cornwall has to offer. Add to this Falmouth University, which is one of the top establishments for students in the creative industries in the UK, and you have a seaside town like no other, with attractions, beaches and events galore.
