A QUAINT HARBOUR LIKE NO OTHER: MEVAGISSEY

The ‘second largest fishing port in Cornwall’ makes Mevagissey sound pretty big. It’s not. It’s a small village with a big heart. Visitors flock here every summer to wander around the quaint streets and to check out the idyllic inner and outer harbours that are home to working fishing vessels alongside the pleasure boats. There is a thriving fishing industry here so expect plenty of eateries touting seafood dishes at the top of their menus. There are some great walks around the coast from here but most visitors are happy to spend the day meandering through the narrow streets and enjoying the cute little attractions in the village like the ever-popular Mevagissey Aquarium. Enjoy!
