Who doesn’t love a good old fashioned competition at Christmas? We certainly do here at Proper Cornwall Towers. And that’s why we’ve joined forces with some of the most brilliant businesses and most awesome attractions in the Duchy to bring you the best Cornwall Christmas competition 2022 out there.

Let’s cut straight to the chase. Enter the Proper Cornwall’s Christmas 2022 Cracker of a Cornish Competition for your chance to win a quality local prize. But what are the prizes that you could win? Well, there are family tickets to Christmas light displays at top Cornish attractions up for grabs. There are tickets to take your loved ones to other famous attractions in Cornwall in 2023 too. There’s a soft play session. There’s a beautiful bottle of gin you could win and there’s also a delightful Christmas hamper. These prizes have all been donated by some of our favourite independent businesses and attractions in the Duchy, so we thank them all warmly.

We are looking for eight winners who will be randomly drawn out of the proverbial elf hat on Thursday 15 December. Each lucky winner will win one of the eight prizes listed below. Entrants must be 18 years old or over. Anyone can enter, regardless of whether you live in Cornwall or not. You can only enter once, however, but your friends and family are welcome to go for it too…

When Christmas is over and we’ve stepped into 2023, what attractions will you explore in Cornwall? We reckon a tour around the inimitable Healey’s Cornish Cyder Farm near Truro should be high on your list of priorities. If you’ve never had the pleasure before then you’re in for a treat. WIN!… A family soft play session at Heartlands

There’s more to Heartlands than just the acres of outdoor play parks and fields. There’s more than just the awesome restaurant, bijou shops, old mining buildings, heritage museum, events space and diaspora gardens. There’s an epic soft play area at the attraction near Redruth. It’s called Wheal Play and it’s loads of fun for the little ones. It’s open every day with regular sessions throughout and there’s a little coffee shop and free wifi to enjoy for all the parents out there. WIN!… Tickets to visit St Michael’s Mount

Yeah, we’re not sure Cornwall’s most famous island-with-a-castle-on-it needs an introduction. But we’re going to give it one anyway: St Michael’s Mount sits just off the coast of Marazion, with an old cobbled causeway connecting attraction to town. About 30 people live there but thousands of visitors rock up every year to check out the medieval castle, terraced gardens, historical buildings, legends, stories and spectacular views. WIN!… Tickets to visit Lappa Valley

Choo choo choose this attraction in 2023 if you love enjoying great days out in Cornwall with the family! Sorry, we couldn’t resist that pun but frankly it is all about the fun at Lappa Valley. The steam engine and 15-inch minimum gauge railway attraction near Newquay is all about the trains that run from former tramway stop Benny Halt to East Wheal Rose station. Steam locomotives Muffin and Zebedee carry passengers across the attraction, a boating lake, a crazy golf course and plenty of other activities including outdoor play areas and indoor soft play centre for kids, big and small. WIN!… A Christmas hamper from The Cornish Hen Delicatessen

To finish off our list of prizes, last but certainly not least is a luxury Christmas hamper from The Cornish Hen Delicatessen in Penzance. This small-but-mighty deli in the heart of the town offers top Cornish bakery and deli products including, of course, pasties and, just for the season we’re in, mince pies. There’s Spanish and Italian fare too, plus cracking coffee and superb soups. Everything is made on-site, including the much-loved homemade jams, marmalades and chutneys. TERMS AND CONDITIONS for this Proper Cornwall’s Christmas 2022 Cracker of a Cornish Competition

1. By entering this prize draw you are agreeing to these prize draw terms and conditions.

2. The prize draw is being run by Proper Group Ltd via its “Proper Cornwall” website and social networks.

3. The prize draw is open to entrants over 18 years of age only.

4. In entering the prize draw, you confirm that you are eligible to do so and eligible to claim any prize you may win.

5. A maximum of one entry per individual is permitted.

6. The prize draw is free to enter.

7. All entrants will be added to our mailing list unless otherwise requested in the entrant’s entry email.

8. The prize draw will close at 5pm on Thursday 15th December 2022. The draw will be made at that time. The winners will be drawn at random. Entries after that time and date will not be included in the draw.

9. To enter the prize draw simply email Proper Group Ltd (“Proper Cornwall”) the answer to the question ‘Who is Cornwall’s patron saint?’ along with the entrant’s name and age to the hello@propercornwall.co.uk email address.
