‘A TRIP DOWN BROADWAY’ SHOW HITS THE STAGE FOR ONE NIGHT ONLY AT THE PRINCESS PAVILION IN FALMOUTH ON THE EVENING OF MONDAY 28 AUGUST 2023. ENJOY BIG NUMBERS, YOUNG TALENTS AND A GREAT UPBEAT ATMOSPHERE…

There’s no business like show business and there’s no show business like show business that’s performed by the best young talents this side of Oklahoma! Prepare for some seriously talented young performers to grace Falmouth for one night only in the ‘A Trip Down Broadway’ show that’s on at the town’s Princess Pavilion on the evening of Monday 28 August 2023.

Some of the UK’s top singers will be in full voice during the upbeat show. These future stars are brimming with talent and some of them could be the next big West End legend of the future. Organisers say that the performance is ‘designed to inspire and delight the audience – and aspiring young musicians in particular’.

Expect an array of ‘wonderful classic songs from the musical shows we all love performed by a group of young singers’, say the organisers. Each of the young talents are between 17 and 30 years old and each is either a young professional or studies at a prestigious music college. The organisers say that they all ‘stand on the cusp of stellar stage careers’.

International classical singer and director Maria Jagusz directs the show and she is accompanied by ‘one of the country’s finest young musicians’ Will Sharma, who is based at the Royal Opera House. The performance has been planned by the Chris Treglown Foundation Fund, which was created by the parents of talent young singer Chris Treglown, who died in a car accident in 2012.

All of the profits will go to the Cornwall-based charity which ‘provides funding for aspiring young singers to pursue their musical careers’. Mum Julia Treglown says: “The fabulous venue of Princess Pavilion gives us a brilliant opportunity to showcase some of the most exciting young performers in the UK to a large audience. The big-hitting songs in the programme will display their amazing vocal range, lift the spirits and leave everyone wanting more!”

Doors open at 6.30pm on Monday 28 August 2023. Tickets are £15 for adults and £7.50 for under-16s. Go on. Go and support the cream of young musical theatre, on for just one night only in Falmouth at the end of the summer.
