Mix together Cornwall’s biggest attraction, a former industrial crater, a unique setting of tropical plants and bright lights and some of the best musical acts in the world and what do you have? The Eden Sessions. These unique open-air concerts in the middle of the Cornish countryside are, as a newspaper once said, ‘the nearest you can get to watching a gig on the moon’.
But who is playing the Eden Sessions 2024? JLS, Suede, the Manic Street Preachers, Tom Grennan, Crowded House, Rick Astley, The Lightning Seeds, The National, Fatboy Slim and Paolo Nutini. That’s a fact, Jack, as the six monster bands, legendary crooner, Scottish singer-songwriter, up-and-coming vocalist and superstar DJ have all been announced on the bill in June and July 2024!
JLS play the Eden Project in Cornwall on Saturday 13 July 2024. The boyband bring their rich vocals and awesome dance moves to the biomes in a fantastic coup for the attraction.
Snap up your tickets and watch Oritsé Williams, JB Gill, Marvin Humes and Aston Merrygold, who have sold more than 1.4 million live tickets and more than six million records, rock the Sessions in ’24.

Suede and the Manic Street Preachers play the Eden Project in Cornwall on Saturday 29 June 2024. Both bands were revered in the 1990s but they have carried on well past those years, crafting great music and wowing crowds for decades now.
It will be the second stop of a huge joint UK and Ireland tour in the summer 2024 for Suede and the Manic Street Preachers to commemorate 30 years since they both took the stage together for the first time. Each band will play about 75 minutes with those biomes as an amazing backdrop to the double-header concert.
Crowded House play the Eden Project on Wednesday 12 June 2024. It’s only natural that the Australian rock legends will play a perfect set under the stars.
Fatboy Slim plays the venue a few days later on Saturday 15 June 2024. The genius behind ‘Praise You’ and ‘Right Here, Right Now’ brings his unique sound to Cornwall. All hail Norman Cook when he rocks those biomes!
Scottish singer-songwriter Paolo Nutini plays the Eden Project on Wednesday 19 June 2024. It will be the fourth Sessions performance for the artist, who has notched up more than 18 platinum certifications and 1.5 billion streams do far during his mesmerising career.
The National make their debut at the Eden Sessions on Tuesday 2 July 2024. These American music pioneers, who are supported at the gig by This Is The Kit, are vocalist Matt Berninger and two sets of brothers – twins Aaron and Bryce Dessner and Scott and Bryan Devendorf. The show follows the release of ‘Laugh Track’, the five-piece’s surprise second album of 2023.
Rick Astley and his legendary vocals grace the biomes on Wednesday 3 July 2024. The star has had a massive resurgence over the past few years, so his presence at the sessions shows just how far the pop icon has come (again!). Special guests on the night are The Lightning Seeds, those indie-rock geniuses from Liverpool. The Lightning Seeds and Rick Astley at the Eden Project 2024. Who’d have thought it?
And Tom Grennan brings his unique vocals to Eden on Friday 5 July 2024. The Bedford-born star has taken the UK by storm over the past few years, notching up number one albums and platinum singles aplenty.
You’d never know it today but until the mid-1990s, the crater that the Eden Project’s two biomes sit in near St Austell actually housed a 160-year-old china clay enterprise. The only sounds you’d hear of an evening would be the clanking of machinery and the chatter of the workers who were clocking off for the night.
These days, though, on a select handful of dates during the early summer, the former pits bounce to much more melodic sounds as some of the world’s biggest and best music acts rock up for the Eden Sessions.
The crater’s man-made cliffs provide a wonderful natural amphitheatre for the sessions. And the image of those two mammoth biomes turning into giant brightly lit disco balls in the background adds a massive wow factor to the gigs. In fact, Eden becomes one of the world’s most atmospheric live music venues for the sessions. There’s an otherworldly feel that just heightens the senses, whichever major act you’re lucky enough to catch.
Of course, Eden’s mission is stamped all over its sessions. The performers are invited to use their art to stimulate and provoke audiences to reflect on social and environmental issues while Eden itself promises to showcase sustainable, innovative and inclusive best practices for event management.
Since the inaugural concerts in 2002, past performers have included Oasis, Elton John, Pulp, Moby, Amy Winehouse, Skrillex, Massive Attack and Ben Howard, to name but a select few.
In 2022, My Chemical Romance, Nine Inch Nails, Stereophonics and Diana Ross were among the big names rocking the biomes and at the Eden Sessions 2023, Lionel Richie, Gabrielle, Yungblud, The War on Drugs, Beth Orton, Jack Johnson, Incubus, the Pet Shop Boys, Kasabian, Anne-Marie and The Who all played to massive crowds.
