FALMOUTH’S FESTIVE WEEKEND 2023 TAKES PLACE ON SATURDAY 9 AND SUNDAY 10 DECEMBER 2023, 11AM TO 5PM EACH DAY, AT AN ARRAY OF VENUES ACROSS THE SOUTH COAST TOWN. CELEBRATE CHRISTMAS FALMOUTH-STYLE…

Falmouth is great fun at any time of the year. But the pretty Cornish town goes all out in the run-up to Christmas to be really, really great fun. Falmouth Festive Weekend 2023 is a must-visit if you want to get into the seasonal spirit on the south coast.

The 2023 Falmouth Festive Weekend, on Saturday 9 and Sunday 10 December 2023, 11am to 5pm each day, has been going for a couple of years now and has been heralded as a major seasonal success. This year expect a FREE live music stage at The Moor with carol singers as well as local acts, plus a FREE market packed with seasonal goods and top Christmas gift ideas.

What else to expect at this 2023 Falmouth Christmas festival that takes over the town? Well, there’s also a massive snow globe at The Moor that you can actually get inside for £1. Families are encouraged to enjoy the globe and have their photos taken inside.

And what family festive feast would be complete without a charity Santa’s grotto? The Miracle Theatre Christmas Grotto was a charitable highlight at the 2022 edition of this two-day festival. Father Christmas pulled up in an ‘iconic pink van’ at The Moor throughout the weekend.

But instead of meeting kids and giving gifts to them in 2022, he took presents in from generous children and parents and later donated them to needy boys, girls and adults in the town. Recipients included the Falmouth Children Centre, The Food Bank, the Dracaena Centre and Simon House. Enjoy a similarly kind-hearted grotto this year at The Moor.

And there’s also a curling lane at The Moor this year. It’s £2 to enjoy. For an extra £1, there are children’s vintage rides also stationed at the famous outdoor space.

Christmas in Falmouth 2023 should be an awesome one when it comes to this festive weekend. There is a grand ice rink you have to experience at Events Square which is £2 a pop. And a FREE live music stage at the same location means that you can skate while hearing cracking local bands on the mic at the same time.

An RPM Bike Display Show should attract the coolest visitors to the weekend, although probably the most mesmerising experience throughout the festival will be the snowy streets across town. Yup, that’s right. Expect actual snowy streets. Take our word for it. And experience a festive land train, for that matter, alongside other events like nativity shows and carol singing on the streets.

Head on over to the town and experience all of the seasonal magic for yourself in 2023. Snowy streets, a giant snow globe and an ice rink. Live music, Santa’s charitable grotto and a curling lane. And a FREE market! It’s all happening at the Falmouth Festive Weekend 2023. Have a good one, one and all!
