THE GIANT SLIP AND SLIDE CORNWALL ATTRACTION IS A 440-FOOT-LONG WET SLIDE ATTRACTION IN THE CORNISH COUNTRYSIDE NEAR NEWQUAY AND WADEBRIDGE. ENJOY A THRILLING DAY OUT THAT’S LIKE NO OTHER EXPERIENCE…
Few attractions in Cornwall can claim to be the ‘biggest’. But Giant Slip and Slide Cornwall is indeed the biggest slip ‘n’ slide water slide on our magical island in Europe. If you’re looking for a unique and thrilling experience over the summer months, then you’ve got to hit this place up with family or friends.
Giant Slip and Slide Cornwall is based at Winnards Perch (postcode TR9 6DT) near St Columb Major, just off the A39 between Newquay and Wadebridge. It is open during the May half-term from 27 May to 4 June before being open for every weekend in July. It’s then open every day between 20 July and 2 September, when it closes for the season.
This is a 440-foot-long wet slide attraction in the beautiful Cornish countryside. You need to bring your own wetsuit but, other than that, all equipment is provided by the attraction owners. It costs £12 per person for an hour, with under-fours going for free and there are free places for carers as well. Food and coffee vendors are on site.
The attraction is run by a Cornish family and it has been going since 2017. Safety is paramount and there is a three metre-high launch ramp at the top of four lanes along the slide. Equipment to use includes bodyboards, inflatable hoops and inflatable rings. Under-fours have enjoyed the experience and the oldest person to have fun on the slide was 82 years old.
So slip ‘n’ slide your way to Cornwall’s best slide attraction this summer. We know you’ll fall for it…
