CORNWALL PRIDE 2024 SEES THE DUCHY AWASH WITH RAINBOW FLAGS BETWEEN SATURDAY 27 APRIL AND SATURDAY 5 OCTOBER 2024. SUPPORT HUGE PARADES IN CORNISH TOWNS OVER THE SUMMER AS WELL AS OTHER FAB EVENTS…

Over the past 16 years, Cornwall Pride has flourished in all the colours of the rainbow, with the past two Cornwall Prides scaling new heights. The 2022 edition marked the 50th anniversary of Pride in the UK with 11 community events across the Duchy rather than just the traditional single event in Newquay. And the 2023 Cornwall Pride followed suit as tens of thousands hit the streets in support.

Holding Cornwall Pride events in 10 towns and a city in 2022 and 2023 was a move that was made to ensure that far more towns were able to get involved and support both the LGBTQ+ community and all marginalised people in Cornish society. It worked and now we’re gearing up for the 2024 Cornwall Pride, which promises to bigger, better and more colourful than ever before.

Between Saturday 27 April and Saturday 5 October 2024, 11 Cornwall Pride events will take place on selected Saturdays (and the occasional Sunday!), with most of the events falling in May, June and July. There will be Truro Pride 2024, Falmouth Pride 2024, Newquay Pride 2024, Bodmin Pride 2024, Penzance Pride 2024, St Ives Pride 2024, Bude Pride 2024, St Austell Pride 2024, Redruth Pride 2024, Camborne Pride 2024 and Saltash Pride 2024. Also expect a special conference later in the year to round it all off.

Pride parades in Cornwall 2024

The 2024 Cornwall Pride experience is set to be a colourful affair with a serious message. We all must remember to be good to each other and to respect everyone’s human rights. The parades themselves will each add a splash of colour to the participating town or city and expect a number of themes for each event.

Also enjoy the fact that Cornwall Pride events are free to attend, extremely family friendly and packed full of market, food and charity vendors. Plus, of course, there’s always plenty of entertainment both as part of the Cornwall Pride 2024 parades and aside from them.

We look forward to Cornwall Pride 2024 across the Duchy. Here are the headline events that have been so far announced:
